I have met the standards-based instruction in my WebQuest. This assighnment was designed for 7th grade history students, it was according to the Colorado History standards for 7th grade. The WebQuest was delivered through was a Google site named Google Sites.
7.2 Use technology to increase student achievement.
I have met this standard through Smartboard. I created an assignment that met the 4th grade Colorado History standards. The Smartboard presentation was created through its own software. It gave the students a way to learn better.
7.3 Utilize technology to manage and communicate information.
I met this through the Digital Story assignment. I created a lecture for the 8th grade Colorado History standards. I could use visuals and audibles as a way for them to learn. This can be done through bunch of different software, I used iMovie.
7.4 Apply technology to data-driven assessments of learning.
The grading rubric for the WebQuest is an example of applying technology to data-driven assessment. You change each rubric for each assignements because there might not be the same instructions. The grading rubric met the standard for 7th Grade history in Colorado.

The Web 2.0 assignment is a good example of how a student in the 7th-8th grade standard could learn basic skills. Once you have the basic skills for Web 2.0 that is all you need for doing assignments, email, social networking, ect,.
